The Millionair Club Charity:
rebuilding lives, one job at a time.
Since its founding in 1921, the Millionair Club Charity has never lost sight of its vision: that everyone should have access to jobs and support services that help them be ready for work.
From 2013 to 2015 Celebrity Waiters Luncheon has raised more than $1,387,000 for the Millionair Club Charity, a Seattle-based non-profit. The monies raised at last year’s Luncheon helped to place men and women in permanent jobs, gave them access to stable housing, and wrap-around services to support their continued success. The money also helped fund the renovation of their shower and laundry facility — tripling the capacity to help people be ready for work. The Millionair Club Charity is thrilled to have reached even more donors in 2016, which will help to fund their kitchen renovation project.
Specialists in rebuilding the self-confidence and dignity of people who are homeless and unemployed, the Millionair Club Charity provides people with jobs, skills training, housing assistance, meals, access to showers and laundry facilities, work clothes, and free eye glasses to help them rebuild their lives and become “job ready.” In 2015, this successful formula connected 139 people with permanent employment, saving community tax payers up to $40,000 per person - over $5.6 million dollars.

The Millionair Club Charity is extremely grateful to the CWL 2015 waiters, who helped raise the money for an expanded shower and laundry center, that is CRITICAL to the success of the new Jobs Connect program, which seeks to help people who are homeless and unsheltered connect to the MCC’s supportive employment program.
Learn more about Jobs Connect from the story that aired on KOMO television news.
